All About E-mail
Additional E-Mail IDs
In addition to the e-mail ID created upon registration for AT&T
Worldnet Service, account owners can create up to five extra e-mail
IDs (for a total of six), FREE. These IDs
can be created, deleted or changed using our online account tools,
and with each ID you'll receive ten megabytes of Web space to build
your own Web page at Personal Web Pages @att.net. Once an additional
e-mail ID has been set up, we strongly recommend you use our Web-based
e-mail interface, the AT&T Message Center to access your AT&T
Worldnet e-mail. The AT&T Message Center is just a click away
at http://webmail.att.net/wmc/wmprefs.
Please bookmark this URL for your convenience in accessing all your
e-mail IDs.
Other clients can be used with your additional e-mail IDs, but
support for them is limited to user-to-user assistance such as the
AT&T
Worldnet Help Newsgroups and the Worldnet
User's Reference Desk (WURD) and third party channels such as
the Microsoft Web site, and the Netscape Web site. The easier, faster
(and recommended) method for accessing e-mail for all of
your accounts is the AT&T Message Center. Equipped with the specific
e-mail ID and password for the e-mail account you would like to access,
you can quickly read and send messages.
Account owners can activate additional IDs by selecting Member
Services below. On the Member Services page, select a link marked
Associate Memberships. This will take you to the Member Login page.
Enter the requested information and choose the Login button. On the
Member Administration page, select a link labeled 'Create a new associate
member'. This will take you to the Associate Member Information page
to select the additional e-mail ID(s) and password(s), and enter the
name of the individual(s) who will use them. If an ID is already in
use or an invalid password is selected, you will be asked to try again.
